PROJECT 2029 -
For our June '26 Project 2029, we have supported Color of Change, who are working "to create a more human and less hostile world for Black people in America." Among other things, they are fighting the "attack on Black political power happening across the country" after the "gutting" of the Voting Rights Act.
They also have demanded that the "Country Music Association address Its racist culture," including removing "Morgan Wallen as an eligible candidate from all award categories."
We also continue to support the ACLU, who are working to “defend the rights of all people nationwide."
This is all part of “Project 2029”, where we will make a donation around the first of every month until Jan 2029 to orgs that are helping make the world a better and more just place. This is more needed than ever to counteract those in power who are actively trying to make the world worse.
There is much which we can’t do, but this is one small thing we can do. We encourage you to find small things you can do to help make the planet a little better. If it seems overwhelming, look around your own community to see where you can help, and remember money is not the only way to support.
