4) PROJECT 2029 -
For our October '26 Project 2029, we have supported Color of Change, who among many other things, are addressing "forces like racist policing," holding "corporate and political leaders accountable," and working to transform "industries (film, music, TV, fashion) to reflect true justice and equity."
We also have supported Colorado Public Radio, partially as a response to what PBS called the current US regime's "latest attack on press freedom" which CNN called "an illegal assault on constitutionally protected right to free speech."
We also continue to support the ACLU, who are working to “defend the rights of all people nationwide."
This is all part of “Project 2029”, where we will make a donation around the first of every month until Jan 2029 to orgs that are helping make the world a better and more just place. This is more needed than ever to counteract those in power who are actively trying to make the world worse.
There is much which we can’t do, but this is one small thing we can do. We encourage you to find small things you can do to help make the planet a little better. If it seems overwhelming, look around your own community to see where you can help, and remember money is not the only way to support.
Thanks again for reading!
